Facility Operations Supervisor (Chemical Processing)

Location: Onsite in Dolton, Illinois, United States. Night shift from 6:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. on a 3/2 split schedule.

Salary: $80,000–$90,000 annually, depending on experience.

What you will do

• Supervise Solvent Process and Liquid Transfer operators, leading a team of up to five employees.
• Oversee nighttime production and recycling operations.
• Manage inbound and outbound tanker loads.
• Resolve off-specification issues and support process improvement.
• Make chemical blends as needed and work directly on the plant floor.
• Maintain safe, organized, and production-focused facility operations.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Leadership and team management experience in an industrial environment.
• Hands-on experience with plant operations and the ability to work under pressure.
• Strong problem-solving, decision-making, communication, documentation, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Windows-based applications, scanning applications, EOM scanning SOPs, and VPI/Pick sheets.
• Ability to review applicable SOPs annually and achieve satisfactory quiz scores.
