Business Systems Engineer (Regular/Senior)

Location: Remote, with a time zone difference of +/- 2 hours from GMT+1. The company is based in Bielsko-Biała, Poland.

What you will do

• Propose technical solutions based on business requirements and stakeholder needs.
• Script integrations between tools such as Mail, Jira, Google Sheets, Slack, KSeF, InPost Parcel Manager, and Calamari.
• Develop internal applications and software supporting business processes.
• Administer Jira, Confluence, Jira Service Management, and Assets.
• Provide internal user support, deliver training, and maintain technical documentation.
• Monitor system health, perform maintenance and upgrades, and establish governance and security best practices.

Requirements

• Proficiency in scripting with Python, JavaScript, YAML, or C#.
• Experience with REST APIs, system integrations, software architecture, and design.
• Ability to build basic front-end interfaces for script users.
• Basic familiarity with the Atlassian environment and strong analytical, research, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and assess solution feasibility.
• English proficiency at B1–B2 level; commitment to workplace hygiene, security, and ISO standards.

Nice to have

• Advanced Jira workflow configuration, smart values, scheme management, and customization.
• Knowledge of real-time systems such as WebSocket or WebRTC.
• Knowledge of SQL and ERP systems.
