Associate Systems Engineer

Location: Prague, Czech Republic. Hybrid schedule requiring three days in the office and two remote days per week. Participation in rotating shifts, including possible swing and graveyard shifts, is required for 24/5 global coverage.

What you will do

• Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 technical support, triage, and initial resolution for Linux, Windows, AWS, and hardware incidents.
• Diagnose authentication and authorization issues across Active Directory, Linux LDAP/SSSD, MFA/2FA, and AWS IAM.
• Troubleshoot virtualization environments such as Nutanix, OpenShift Virt, VMware vSphere/ESXi, and KVM.
• Monitor hybrid compute and storage services and perform routine health and performance checks.
• Execute and maintain SOPs for access requests, basic instance provisioning, and hardware checks.
• Maintain troubleshooting documentation, support Bash/Python automation and IaC deployments, and escalate issues outside standard procedures.

Requirements

• Early-career profile with strong motivation to learn the infrastructure stack in a mission-critical production environment.
• Foundational knowledge of Linux, including RHEL/CentOS, and/or Windows Server administration.
• General familiarity with virtualization concepts and platforms such as VMware, OpenShift Virt, or Nutanix.
• Basic exposure to or interest in Python or Bash scripting.
• Logical troubleshooting, strong communication, customer-service skills, and ability to follow technical direction.
• Ability to work in Prague on a hybrid schedule and participate in rotating shifts for 24/5 global operations.

Nice to have

• Associate degree or relevant certification in Computer Science or a related technical field.
• Exposure to VMware, OpenShift Virt, Nutanix, or similar virtualization technologies.
