Senior Business Analyst (Travel)

What you will do

• Define current- and future-state workflows across corporate travel booking, fulfillment, servicing, payments, finance operations, and back-office processes.
• Facilitate workshops with business, product, operations, finance, technical stakeholders, and client representatives.
• Break down business capabilities into epics, features, work packages, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Document business rules, exception scenarios, operational handoffs, system touchpoints, dependencies, risks, and assumptions.
• Analyze gaps between legacy processes and future-state platform models and contribute to process optimization.
• Align business requirements with solution designs and support delivery planning and operational readiness.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, Product Business Analyst, or Functional Analyst.
• Experience in corporate travel, travel management companies, airlines, booking platforms, fulfillment services, payments, finance operations, or back-office domains.
• Understanding of air, hotel, and car reservation processes, including PNR lifecycle management, ticketing, queues, and booking synchronization.
• Experience with GDS platforms, Online Booking Tools, travel APIs, or integration-focused systems.
• Strong process mapping, user story creation, epic definition, acceptance criteria, communication, facilitation, and documentation skills.
• Ability to translate high-level business objectives into clear delivery scope and collaborate with business and technical stakeholders.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of NDC, direct-connect travel content, or GDS consolidation approaches.
• Experience with invoice approval, reconciliation, expense automation, or back-office reporting.
• Experience defining operating models for new products, partnerships, or enterprise customer onboarding.
• Familiarity with large-scale platform transformation, integration programs, and multiple third-party integrations.
