Business Systems Analyst

What you will do

• Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to understand processes, integration needs, and system requirements.
• Translate business needs into functional and technical requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, process flows, and data flows.
• Analyze existing systems and integrations to identify dependencies, impacts, gaps, and improvement opportunities.
• Define API, interface, data mapping, transformation, and error-handling requirements with architects and developers.
• Document source and target systems, business rules, interface behavior, decisions, and changes.
• Support root-cause analysis of integration and data-related issues and help resolve requirements ambiguities.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, Systems Analyst, Business Systems Analyst, or in a similar role.
• Strong experience with system integrations, enterprise applications, middleware, and integration platforms such as WSO2 or MuleSoft.
• Experience documenting integration requirements, field mappings, business rules, dependencies, and error-handling scenarios.
• Ability to translate business requirements into clear technical requirements and collaborate with developers, architects, QA engineers, product owners, and business stakeholders.
• Strong understanding of REST APIs, web services, JSON, XML, API specifications, integration patterns, data flows, mappings, and transformations.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for understanding complex systems and dependencies.

Nice to have

• Experience with FHIR and healthcare system integrations.
• Experience with Oracle Cloud Fusion or Salesforce.
