Field Service Foreman (Environmental Services)

Location: Wichita, Kansas, United States. Onsite field service work with travel, overnight assignments, and rotating emergency-response on-call duty every other week. New hires must attend a paid two-week Academy training, which may be out of state.

Salary: $22.00–$24.00 hourly.

What you will do

• Directly supervise, train, and mentor Field Service Technicians.
• Coordinate manpower, equipment, and resources for field service and emergency-response projects.
• Manage projects within budget and schedule, including large-scale assignments when directed.
• Perform emergency spill cleanup, hazardous-waste cleanup, site remediation, tank and pit cleaning, equipment decontamination, and hazardous-material handling.
• Operate light and heavy equipment, vehicles, hand tools, and powered industrial tools while using required personal protective equipment.
• Conduct field sampling, meter calibration, drum inspections, waste loading and unloading, waste-stream profiling, vehicle and equipment inspections, and required paperwork.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a physically intensive role and in supervision, crew leadership, or another leadership position.
• Ability to travel for extended periods, work overnight, and participate in rotating emergency-response on-call coverage.
• Valid driver's license; commercial driver's license is preferred.
• Ability to perform strenuous physical work, including lifting, climbing ladders and scaffolding, working in confined spaces, and working extended shifts.
• Ability to work around hazardous, toxic, or corrosive substances and wear respirators and other required PPE; applicable facial-hair standards apply to respirator-required positions.
• Successful completion of a background check, drug test, and physical examination where required.

Nice to have

• Heavy-equipment experience with bobcats, excavators, or similar equipment.
• Environmental or industrial experience in site remediation, spill response, hydro blasting, vacuum trucks, tank cleaning, or refinery work.
