Field Technician III (Environmental)

Location: Manchester, New Hampshire, United States; work is primarily outdoors with occasional office work.

Salary: $30.00–$35.00 per hour

What you will do

• Assist with the design and review of complex engineering projects.
• Develop and implement engineering standards and procedures.
• Lead and coordinate projects to meet schedules, budgets, safety requirements, and technical standards.
• Oversee construction and installation activities, maintain as-built drawings and inspection reports, and prepare technical documentation.
• Provide technical guidance to junior technicians and engineers.
• Coordinate with engineers, contractors, project managers, and other stakeholders to resolve technical issues.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; an associate degree or trade school background is preferred.
• 5–10 years of relevant experience, with environmental field experience strongly preferred.
• Experience in facilities maintenance, public works, skilled trades, construction, plumbing, electrical, or mechanical work is preferred.
• Strong mechanical skills and troubleshooting ability.
• Valid driver's license required; experience driving large trucks or vans, operating heavy equipment, and towing trailers is desirable.
• Ability to regularly carry up to 50 pounds and occasionally up to 80 pounds, with or without accommodation.

Nice to have

• OSHA 40-hour HAZWOPER training.
• First Aid/CPR certification.
