Sr. Analyst, Quality Engineer (Guidewire)

Location: Hybrid; must reside within 35 miles of Scottsdale, Arizona, or Columbus, Ohio. Two days in the office and three days remote.

Salary: $76,000–$143,000 annual national range; expected starting range of $76,000–$115,000.

What you will do

• Validate product, rating, policy transaction, API, authentication, and integration changes for the Guidewire InsuranceNow-based ExpressConnect 2.0 platform.
• Review requirements, acceptance criteria, designs, API contracts, and technical changes for testability.
• Create and maintain test scenarios, test data, traceability, and automation assets.
• Execute functional, integration, regression, UAT, performance, release, and post-release validation.
• Analyze failures, reproduce and document defects, assess business impact, and verify fixes with developers and analysts.
• Support release readiness, environment validation, deployment verification, and continuous improvement of testing practices.

Requirements

• At least two years of related software delivery experience or technology education.
• Experience planning, creating, maintaining, and executing tests in agile teams.
• Guidewire InsuranceNow experience required.
• Understanding of test automation and optimization across the technology stack.
• Analytical, communication, problem-solving, planning, and prioritization skills.
• Undergraduate studies in computer science, management information systems, or a related field are preferred.

Nice to have

• Tosca or Playwright test automation experience.
• AI experience.
• Tosca Automated Specialist certifications or related technology designations.
• Insurance or financial services industry knowledge.
