What you will do

• Manage existing M&T Equipment Finance Corporation customer relationships in partnership with senior management.
• Communicate with customers to identify financing needs and originate new opportunities through existing accounts, bid letters, and publicly funded project awards.
• Assess customer experience, financial condition, and collateral to recommend appropriate financing solutions.
• Use equipment, industry, customer, supplier, vendor, and public-data intelligence to expand relationships, improve efficiency, and identify potential delinquencies.
• Support sales training through meetings, conference calls, trade shows, and one-on-one calls.
• Follow risk, regulatory, internal-control, and audit standards, escalating risk-related issues when required.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and at least 7 years of relevant work experience, or a combined minimum of 11 years of higher education and/or work experience including at least 7 years of relevant experience.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational and analytical skills.
• Ability to evaluate customer financial condition, collateral, financing needs, and related risks.
• Prior credit underwriting experience is preferred.
