Designer III (HVAC)

Location: Clarksville, Tennessee, United States. Hybrid schedule: onsite Monday through Thursday; choose the work location on Fridays based on work requirements.

Annual base salary range: $52,300–$93,485. Compensation type: hourly.

What you will do

• Create parts, assemblies, layouts, 2D drawings, and 3D engineering models for commercial water source heat pump products using Creo Parametric.
• Develop product designs and technical documentation through computer-aided design and product lifecycle management systems.
• Translate verbal and written requirements into HVAC product drawings and recommend solutions for design or configuration issues.
• Apply design practices across machine design, castings, fabrication, sheet metal, GD&T, tolerance analysis, electrical systems, heat transfer, piping, and welding.
• Provide technical support to other departments on drawings and design data while maintaining documentation accuracy.
• Coordinate project schedules and teams, direct assigned tasks, and support the development of sustainable HVAC products.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in lieu of a degree, or an associate degree in electrical or mechanical engineering.
• Experience with SolidWorks, Creo Parametric, Creo Schematics, Inventor, or ProEngineer.
• Experience coordinating and directing project planning and scheduling.
• Ability to work onsite with colleagues Monday through Thursday in Clarksville, Tennessee.
• Ability to work cross-functionally with global teams and follow company safety and security policies.
