Mechanical Designer II (HVAC)

What you will do

• Develop CAD models, assemblies, conceptual drawings, preliminary drawings, and production-ready design updates for HVAC equipment.
• Assist with new product design and revise existing designs.
• Troubleshoot design and production issues on the manufacturing line.
• Process in-house orders through SPAS and manage multiple assignments under the guidance of design engineers.
• Prepare complete bills of material by defining when, where, and why parts are used.
• Collaborate with engineers, management, and creative departments to determine design solutions.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience in the HVAC industry or an equivalent industry.
• Experience using CAD and computer design software to create models and drawings.
• Two-year technical degree preferred.
• Effective written and spoken communication, interpersonal, analytical problem-solving, decision-making, organization, and multitasking skills.
• Ability to work independently and effectively in a team and fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and sit or stand for up to 95% of working hours.
