TL;DR
Field Service Foreman (HAZMAT Emergency Response) (hazardous waste and emergency response): Supervising field technicians and executing emergency spill cleanup, hazardous waste removal, site remediation, equipment decontamination, and hazardous-material handling with an accent on safety compliance, field resources, and heavy equipment operations. Focus on managing large-scale response projects, coordinating manpower and equipment, conducting sampling and waste profiling, and working safely in confined spaces, elevated areas, and hazardous environments.

Location: Boise, Idaho, United States; onsite field work with extended overnight travel and rotating emergency-response on-call duty. New hires must attend a paid, company-funded two-week Academy training out of state.

Salary: $27–$29 per hour starting pay.

What you will do

  • Directly supervise, train, and mentor Field Service Technicians.
  • Execute emergency spill cleanup, hazardous-waste cleanup, site remediation, tank and pit cleaning, and equipment decontamination projects.
  • Coordinate manpower, equipment, and resources with the project Coordinator and manage large-scale projects when assigned.
  • Operate vehicles, heavy and light equipment, hand tools, powered industrial tools, and meters.
  • Conduct field sampling, meter calibration, waste-stream sampling and profiling, drum inspections, and hazardous-waste loading and unloading.
  • Complete inspections, permits, worksheets, and other compliance documentation while following OSHA, EPA, U.S. DOT, and company safety requirements.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a physically intensive role and in a supervisory, crew-lead, or leadership position.
  • Ability to travel overnight for extended periods and participate in rotating emergency-response on-call duty.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to perform strenuous physical work, including lifting, climbing, and working in confined spaces, at elevations, and in hazardous environments.
  • Ability to use required PPE, including respirators, and meet applicable facial-hair standards.
  • Successful completion of a background check, drug test, and physical examination where required.
  • Ability to work extended shifts and in varied indoor and outdoor weather conditions.

Nice to have

  • Heavy equipment experience with bobcats, excavators, or similar equipment.
  • Environmental or industrial experience in site remediation, spill response, hydro blasting, vacuum trucks, tank cleaning, or refinery work.
  • Commercial driver's license.
