HVAC Application Engineer

Location: On-site five days per week in Rome or Milan, Italy

Annual base salary: €26,000–€46,620

What you will do

• Select and size HVAC equipment according to application requirements.
• Provide technical guidance to Sales Engineers, customers, designers, end users, and contractors on equipment and hydronic systems.
• Prepare technical and commercial proposals for Trane and auxiliary equipment.
• Develop innovative solutions, basic schematics, and control logic for chilled- and hot-water plants.
• Check order compliance, maintain accurate CRM records, and collaborate with Sales and Customer Care.
• Train the sales network and deliver technical presentations, webinars, and live customer seminars.

Requirements

• Degree in Engineering, preferably Thermodynamics or Mechanical Engineering, or an equivalent qualification.
• Good knowledge of heating, ventilation, and air-conditioning fundamentals.
• Customer-oriented and commercially minded approach with effective teamwork and communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Italian and fluent English required.
