Field Service Engineer (Neo Laureato/a)

Location: Agrate Brianza (MB) or Catania, Italy. The role involves customer-site work and 25% travel. Relocation is not available.

Salary: €32,000–€44,000 per year

What you will do

• Install and support advanced electro-mechanical and electronic wafer fabrication production equipment at customer sites.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance independently or as part of a team.
• Troubleshoot systems systematically and eliminate faults using diagnostic techniques and digital analytics.
• Maintain and service electrical, vacuum, mechanical, plasma, hydraulic, and gas systems.
• Communicate directly with customers and coordinate service activities to ensure reliable equipment operation.
• Work with semiconductor technologies including Chemical Vapor Deposition, Atomic Layer Deposition, Plasma Reactive Ion Etch, Physical Vapor Deposition, Anneal, Implant, Metrology, and Inspection.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, information systems, or a related field, or recent graduation.
• Advanced English and proficient Italian are required.
• Ability to analyze plant documentation, schematics, hardware data, and information from multiple sources.
• Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills, with the ability to build trust and reach consensus.
• Ability to explain difficult or sensitive technical information clearly.
• Willingness to work at customer locations and travel approximately 25% of the time.
