What you will do

• Design and develop components and assemblies for dry scroll and rotary vane vacuum pumps.
• Perform structural and rotodynamic analyses to assess strength, stiffness, fatigue life, vibration behavior, critical speeds, and dynamic stability.
• Plan, execute, and analyze experimental validation activities, including noise and vibration data acquisition.
• Develop test plans, interpret results, and prepare technical reports and recommendations.
• Collaborate with design engineering, manufacturing, testing, and product management teams to resolve technical issues and improve products.
• Support root cause investigations, corrective actions, and continuous improvement of simulation and testing methods.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or an equivalent technical discipline.
• Typically 4+ years of experience in mechanical product development, analysis, or validation engineering.
• Experience designing and developing rotating machinery or electromechanical systems.
• Strong knowledge of structural analysis and Finite Element Analysis (FEA).
• Proficiency with CAD and structural simulation tools; experience with ANSYS is strongly preferred.
• Knowledge of rotordynamics, vibration analysis, experimental testing, instrumentation, sensors, and data acquisition systems.

Nice to have

• Experience with vacuum technology, scroll pumps, rotary vane pumps, compressors, or similar rotating equipment.
