Shipping Supervisor (Automotive)

What you will do

• Direct daily activities of personnel to enhance process efficiencies and loading accuracy.
• Coordinate with group leaders and customer service to schedule orders and meet productivity targets.
• Monitor warehouse tasks, resolve order issues, and ensure timely completion of corrective actions.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment through regular safety observation tours and 5S practices.
• Manage employee performance, attendance records, and disciplinary actions as necessary.
• Report daily metrics and implement process improvements to reduce waste and achieve department KPIs.

Requirements

• Must have a high school diploma.
• Must be authorized to work in the US without sponsorship.
• Ability to solve problems, make decisions, and work within strict deadlines.
• Intermediate computer skills, particularly with MS Office.
• Excellent attendance and safety record.

Nice to have

• Some college classes in business or manufacturing.
• Experience with SAP.
• Ability to operate material handling equipment.
