Software Engineer (Java/Node)

Location: Hybrid work in the Jakarta head office, Indonesia

The role contributes to products and APIs serving Indodana's user base.

What you will do

• Execute medium- to large-sized projects within the assigned product domain.
• Build APIs, enhance product functionality, and fix bugs for a large user base.
• Participate in requirements and specification phases and help design solutions for systems and technical problems.
• Work with DevOps tooling including Kubernetes, Terraform, Grafana, Loki, Prometheus, and Google Cloud Platform.
• Collaborate with a mentor, Lead Software Engineer, Engineering Manager, and high-performance engineering team.

Requirements

• Strong problem-solving and software engineering coding skills, preferably with Java or Node.js.
• Experience with relational database technologies such as PostgreSQL or MySQL.
• Experience using Git and familiarity with GitHub or Phabricator.
• A Computer Science degree is preferred, while demonstrable skills, experience, or a relevant portfolio are also valued.
• Interest in building products and applying technology to complex real-world problems.
