Backend Engineer (Golang)

What you will do

• Design and implement product features and functionality for hirify.global sites and services.
• Collaborate with Product, Business, and Sales teams to gather requirements and deliver scalable solutions.
• Write high-quality, maintainable backend code and own parts of the system.
• Benchmark systems, perform load testing, diagnose problems, and implement solutions.
• Research and apply modern frameworks and technologies for backend systems.
• Participate in design discussions and code reviews while addressing technical challenges.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience in the software industry.
• B.S., M.S., PhD in Computer Science, or equivalent education.
• Strong knowledge of object-oriented programming, data structures, algorithms, and computer science fundamentals.
• Professional experience with Go, NodeJS, or C++.
• Understanding of microservices architecture, HTTP, web services, OAuth, and RESTful APIs.
• Familiarity with Linux, strong troubleshooting and communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team.

Nice to have

• Experience with cloud-based systems and infrastructure services such as AWS or GCP.
