Back-end (Node.js) Developer

What you will do

• Build secure, performant, and scalable APIs for front-end platforms.
• Optimize existing code to improve system performance and efficiency.
• Translate business and feature requirements into structured server-side software.
• Collaborate with Product, QA, and UI teams to deliver features and improvements.
• Apply security and data protection best practices.
• Design and implement efficient, scalable database schemas and queries.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience with Node.js and JavaScript.
• At least 2 years of experience with the PHP CodeIgniter framework.
• Strong knowledge of MySQL table schemas and database querying.
• Understanding of APIs, front-end/back-end communication, backend security, and Linux environments.
• Experience with Git or Mercurial and modern version control systems.
• Strong teamwork, self-management, and ability to keep up with project timelines.

Nice to have

• Experience with Golang.
• Knowledge of AWS infrastructure, including S3, serverless, and autoscaling.
