What you will do

• Manage branch operations, profitability, customer experience, digital engagement, transactions, servicing, and sales performance.
• Lead, coach, develop, and performance-manage branch employees, including staffing and selection decisions.
• Grow retail and business banking relationships through sales processes, prospecting, outreach, and community involvement.
• Resolve complex account servicing and customer issues while improving future issue resolution and service quality.
• Process business banking loan requests up to $100,000 and recommend appropriate products and services.
• Maintain operational, security, compliance, audit, fraud-prevention, and internal-control standards.

Requirements

• Minimum three years of banking branch manager experience, with strong leadership and branch banking experience.
• Bachelor’s degree, or four years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
• Minimum three years of sales experience and at least two years of managerial experience or proven leadership ability.
• Experience with business development, community involvement, business banking products, services, and client relationship management.
• Ability to use common PC software, including Microsoft Office, word processing, and spreadsheets.
• Maintain SAFE Act registration requirements and complete required insurance licensing and M&T Business Banking Specialist requirements within the stated timeframes.
