Trust Operations Distribution Manager (Trust Operations/Financial Services): Managing outgoing distributions, transfers, rollovers, and recharacterizations for trust clients with an accent on compliant processing, operational quality, and team leadership. Focus on supervising cash and asset transactions, resolving escalations, implementing workflow efficiencies, and supporting audits and regulatory requirements.

Location: Fully onsite in Denver, Colorado at 1801 California Street, Suite 800.

Salary: $79,000–$127,000 base pay annually, with potential performance-based incentive compensation.

What you will do

  • Manage outgoing distributions, cash transfers, asset transfers, rollovers, recharacterizations, and beneficiary processing.
  • Lead daily team operations, including delegation, workflow monitoring, mentoring, coaching, and performance management.
  • Supervise processing and quality control for checks, wires, ACH, ACATS, asset distributions, and required minimum distributions.
  • Coordinate projects and serve as an operational liaison for re-registration, transfers out, and distribution initiatives.
  • Resolve escalated client and operational issues while implementing workflow and service efficiencies.
  • Maintain procedures, support audits and regulatory examinations, and ensure compliance with applicable banking regulations.

Requirements

  • College-level education in business or trust, or equivalent training and experience.
  • At least 8 years of experience in Trust Operations.
  • At least 3 years of direct leadership experience in a financial services environment.
  • Knowledge of complex alternative investment transactions, trust accounting systems, operating systems, networking, and business software.
  • Strong communication, analytical, project management, training, mentoring, and staff supervision skills.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision, meet tight schedules, and travel occasionally.

Nice to have

  • Certified IRA Services Professional (CISP) certification.
  • RITA Self Directed IRA Industry Professional (SDIP) certification.
