Regional Fleet Maintenance Manager (Fleet Maintenance)

Location: Baltimore, Maryland, United States; 50% travel required

Salary: $90,000–$100,000 starting annual compensation

What you will do

• Manage maintenance hub and spoke sites in line with regional business plans and budgets.
• Plan and direct maintenance activities for fleet vehicles, equipment, tools, and machinery.
• Implement preventive maintenance schedules, campaigns, recalls, diagnostics, and equipment specifications.
• Manage repairs, vendors, and overtime to maximize fleet uptime and support customer demand.
• Evaluate vehicles and equipment for replacement or refurbishment based on age, repair history, and lifetime costs.
• Lead continuous improvement projects that increase efficiency and reduce operating costs.

Requirements

• 5+ years of operations experience in logistics, maintenance, transportation, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of leadership and personnel development experience.
• Experience leading large employee groups across multiple facilities.
• Strong strategic planning, tactical execution, negotiation, project leadership, and change leadership skills.
• Experience with safety, employee retention, cost savings, data analysis, and regulatory compliance, including DOT, OSHA, and RCRA requirements.
