Staff Engineer (AWS)

Location: Remote in the US

Salary: $153,800–$211,400 per year

What you will do

• Architect, develop, and scale secure, performant, and resilient SaaS platform solutions for Studio customers.
• Lead the design, implementation, and operation of cloud-native platform solutions.
• Perform architecture, coding, research, and technical decision-making across complex projects and platforms.
• Refine loosely defined requirements with Product Management and stakeholders into robust applications.
• Serve as a technical expert for complex system areas and contribute rapidly across unfamiliar codebases.
• Mentor engineers and provide technical guidance across multi-year projects.

Requirements

• 15+ years of experience developing highly available backend services.
• 10+ years building cloud applications with AWS and 5+ years leading developer teams.
• Recent development experience with C# and Golang.
• Strong knowledge of microservice architecture, containerization, container orchestration, and cloud-native AWS solutions.
• Experience with relational SQL databases, Postgres or equivalent, Entity Framework, and NoSQL databases such as DynamoDB or MongoDB.
• Experience with fully automated CI/CD environments and Infrastructure as Code using Terraform or similar tools.
