UX Lead (Financial Services)

Location: Remote

Compensation: $70–$100 per hour, depending on skill set and expertise

Canadian-based digital transformation work focused on credit union website and member experiences within the Forge migration.

What you will do

• Lead discovery and UX strategy for credit union public website and CMS migrations.
• Assess existing OpenText and Forge website experiences, including information architecture, content structure, navigation, and member journeys.
• Map journeys across public websites, digital banking, account opening, products, calculators, branch and ATM services, and other digital touchpoints.
• Develop personas, journey maps, service blueprints, information architecture, wireframes, prototypes, and interaction specifications.
• Lead content and navigation strategy with marketing and digital stakeholders while facilitating executive workshops and stakeholder validation.
• Partner with technical and front-end leads to establish design systems, reusable components, practical platform implementation, and WCAG-compliant experiences.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in UX, product design, or digital experience.
• Experience leading complex website redesigns or CMS migrations.
• Strong portfolio of enterprise or financial-services digital experiences.
• Strong facilitation and stakeholder-management skills, including work with executives, marketing, digital, technology, and business teams.
• Knowledge of CMS-driven component design, design systems, accessibility, responsive design, SEO implications, and analytics.
• Ability to work at both strategic and detailed design levels.

Nice to have

• Experience in banking, credit unions, insurance, or other regulated industries.
