Warranty Technician (Automotive)

What you will do

• Receive, inspect, and evaluate returned automotive parts.
• Conduct Level 1 failure analysis and testing.
• Prepare warranty investigation reports and component documentation.
• Support root cause analysis and corrective action activities.
• Monitor warranty metrics and maintain accurate records.
• Coordinate with engineering, quality, manufacturing, and customer teams, including participation in technical meetings.

Requirements

• ASE certification or equivalent.
• Hands-on ability to test and evaluate returned parts.
• Strong organization, accurate data entry, and report-writing skills.
• Excellent problem-solving and root cause analysis abilities.
• Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Experience with vehicle OEM warranty systems and knowledge of IATF 16949, ISO 9001, and customer-specific requirements.
