Engineering Technician (Automotive)

What you will do

• Set up and operate dynamometers and fatigue test benches for driveline components.
• Collaborate with engineers to ensure correct fixturing, setup, and data acquisition.
• Assemble and disassemble mechanical components and assemblies.
• Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical and electrical issues during testing.
• Perform data analysis on raw test results to confirm test completion.
• Inspect components for damage and document findings for quality assurance.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required; two-year degree in mechanical or electrical engineering technology preferred.
• 2+ years of experience in the automotive field.
• 2+ years of test lab experience including equipment troubleshooting and setup.
• Knowledge of electromechanical systems, electric motors, and sensor fundamentals.
• Must be willing to work overtime, weekends, holidays, and off-shifts.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
