Location: Columbia, South Carolina, United States; full-time in-office attendance required. Domestic and international travel is required approximately 10β40% of the time; a valid driver's license and passport are required.
Salary: $95,000β$120,000 annual base salary, plus eligibility for an annual performance bonus.

What you will do
- Identify and troubleshoot body-in-white process and manufacturing constraints.
- Develop and implement corrective actions for process deviations and optimize production techniques.
- Monitor process variables, analyze production data, identify root causes, and track improvement effectiveness.
- Collaborate with R&D, production, quality teams, and suppliers to define specifications and resolve technical issues.
- Maintain process documentation and prepare reports on performance, experiments, improvements, and corrective actions.
- Train production and quality teams on process improvements and troubleshooting techniques while developing procedures to minimize plant waste.
Requirements
- 5β7+ years of professional experience in automotive production and quality control, including hands-on body-in-white experience.
- Strong knowledge of automotive processes, products, materials, and body-in-white tools and equipment.
- Proven experience with VDA standards is essential.
- Strong understanding of process auditing, problem-solving, data analysis, and quality procedures.
- Bachelorβs degree in automotive technology or quality, or 10 years of related technical experience; a high school diploma, GED, or equivalent is required.
- Hands-on experience with electrical systems and mechanical assembly, plus proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and quality management software.
