Materials Operations Manager (Manufacturing)

Location: On-site in Columbia, South Carolina, 5 days per week

Annual base salary: $108,236.66–$151,479.99; incentive eligible.

What you will do

• Plan, organize, and control receiving, raw material warehousing, inventory control, material flow, and production supermarkets.
• Ensure timely unloading, receiving, storage, replenishment, picking, and delivery of materials to production areas.
• Maintain inventory accuracy, cycle-counting routines, inventory reporting, product-loss control, and scrap processing.
• Implement standard work and continuous improvement initiatives to reduce costs and improve productivity.
• Lead, assign, develop, evaluate, and motivate materials and warehouse personnel.
• Partner with engineering teams to design and deploy replenishment methods such as Kanban and sequencing.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree.
• 3–5 years of experience across integrated manufacturing functions.
• Experience with rate-based or flow-line and job-shop manufacturing environments.
• Experience in operations, inventory management, MRP, and lean manufacturing processes.
• Experience with visual management systems and warehouse equipment; required certifications may apply.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office and inventory control or shipping software.
