ME Engineer (HVAC)

Location: Taicang, Jiangsu, China; On-site five days per week

What you will do

• Support the development of new production lines through layout and process design, line automation, logistics automation, and digitalization.
• Support equipment procurement, track fabrication progress, lead equipment installation, and help launch new plant operations on schedule.
• Provide daily production support for air-cooled chiller final assembly, Maglev compressor assembly, coil, and shell-tube evaporator lines.
• Standardize station and product operations, calculate standard operating times, and improve efficiency and cost through Kaizen, RIE, and improvement projects.
• Lead production-line improvement, equipment and process introduction or replacement, and automation projects.
• Resolve quality and production issues through root-cause analysis, process improvements, operator training, and collaboration with Product Engineering.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, HVAC, or a related field.
• At least four years of relevant experience in manufacturing and plant operations, including at least four years in the HVAC industry and air-cooled chillers.
• Experience implementing Lean and automation programs.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office.
• Strong project management and communication skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English.
