What you will do
- Operate and monitor refinery equipment and processing systems according to established procedures and safety protocols.
- Perform preventive maintenance and troubleshoot refinery equipment issues.
- Monitor temperature, pressure, flow rates, and chemical concentrations to maintain efficient operations.
- Monitor and control refinery emissions for compliance with environmental regulations.
- Coordinate activities with plant personnel and management to support safe and reliable operations.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Ability to obtain a mandatory TWIC card.
- 1–3 years of industrial, refinery, construction, manual labor, or production-environment experience preferred.
- At least 1 year of forklift experience.
- Mechanical aptitude, familiarity with general tools, computer literacy, and ability to operate an iPad.
- Ability to work at heights and in outdoor elements, lift up to 50 lb, climb, stoop, bend, and stand for extended periods.
Nice to have
- Permit-writing experience.
- Oil and gas experience.
