Equipment Operator II Day Shift (Industrial Manufacturing)

Location: On-site in Pineville, Louisiana

What you will do

• Operate forklifts and related machinery to load, move, and position equipment and materials.
• Coordinate machine movements with team members using hand or audio signals.
• Inspect equipment before use and perform basic operator maintenance on fork trucks.
• Monitor operating conditions and follow applicable health and safety regulations.
• Locate materials using project numbers and piecemarks.
• Check fuel supplies and adjust machine controls and attachments as needed.

Requirements

• Experience operating a forklift in an industrial manufacturing facility.
• Ability to read and interpret typed reports and schedules.
• Ability to perform basic operator maintenance on fork trucks.
• Ability to complete on-site training and demonstrate safe machinery operation.
• Clear Motor Vehicle Report.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Nice to have

• Certifications or prior experience using moving machinery.
• Working knowledge of material handling, banding, palletizing, and loading materials onto trucks.
