Field Service Engineer (Semiconductor Equipment)

Location: Nagasaki, Japan; onsite customer support with 24/7 coverage

hirify.global develops and supports semiconductor lithography systems and provides equipment maintenance at customer locations.

What you will do

• Provide first-line operational support for hirify.global semiconductor lithography systems.
• Monitor equipment performance and perform mechanical, pneumatic, electrical, and optical repairs and maintenance.
• Troubleshoot equipment issues and escalate complex incidents to upper-line support.
• Work onsite at customer locations, spending more than 50% of the time in a cleanroom.
• Support 24/7 customer coverage, including 12-hour day and night shifts and on-call duties.

Requirements

• Ability to work in a cleanroom environment for extended periods
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Flexibility to work shifts and respond to on-call duties
• Japanese proficiency at JLPT N1 or higher with daily conversation ability
• Equipment maintenance, system knowledge, technical knowledge, data collection, problem solving, communication, collaboration, and customer focus.
