Field Service Engineer (Semiconductor Equipment)

Location: Nagasaki, Japan; onsite support at customer locations with 24/7 coverage

hirify.global develops and supports semiconductor lithography equipment and provides maintenance, repair, and continuous improvement services at customer locations.

What you will do

• Provide operational support for hirify.global semiconductor lithography equipment.
• Monitor equipment performance and maintain committed customer performance.
• Perform mechanical, pneumatic, electrical, and optical repairs and servicing.
• Escalate complex equipment issues to the appropriate support level.
• Work onsite in a cleanroom and provide 24/7 customer support, including 12-hour day and night shifts.

Requirements

• Japanese: JLPT N1 or higher and daily conversation ability required.
• Ability to work in a cleanroom for extended periods.
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Flexibility to work shifts and respond to on-call duties required.
• Technical knowledge, system knowledge, equipment maintenance, data collection, problem solving, customer focus, and effective communication.
