Educational Consultant – Per Diem - Kansas City, Kansas

Location: Remote within the United States, based in or open to relocating to Kansas City, Kansas; considerable travel of up to 80% is required.

Compensation: $35–$65 per hour, depending on the assigned work.

What you will do

• Facilitate professional development, product training, and support for teachers, coaches, and school administrators.
• Coordinate on-site training and adapt workshops to participant needs.
• Help educators implement Ready and i-Ready to improve classroom learning and equity.
• Provide lesson planning, pacing, data analysis, and implementation support to educators and school leaders.
• Participate in internal observation, feedback, coaching, and professional development.
• Track training notes and complete assignments on time while maintaining a professional customer-facing presence.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and at least 2 years of experience teaching, coaching teachers, and delivering professional development.
• Strong knowledge of Common Core State Standards for grades K–8 or comparable state standards.
• Fluency with digital tools and online assessments, plus the ability to discuss and apply data with educators and leaders.
• Knowledge of adult learning principles and their application to professional development.
• Excellent facilitation, communication, interpersonal, organizational, and time management skills.
• Must live in or be open to relocating to Kansas City, Kansas; own transportation and a valid driver’s license are required.

Nice to have

• Experience teaching at the secondary level, grades 6–12.
• Knowledge of online meeting tools such as Zoom or WebEx.
• Bilingual ability.
