Virtual Specialized Education Instructor (Special Education)

Location: Remote within the United States; availability required from 8:00am to 4:00pm, Monday-Friday.

Compensation: $36-$44 per hour depending on the provider's primary service delivery state; rates apply to 1099 opportunities.

What you will do

• Deliver legally compliant specially designed instruction and compensatory education services to K-12 students with active IEPs.
• Develop and deliver individualized, data-driven lessons covering literacy, foundational math, executive functioning, and functional or adaptive life skills.
• Create, manage, and monitor student IEPs, including case management responsibilities.
• Coordinate schedules and instructional approaches with teachers, parents, students, and other IEP team members.
• Administer screenings, monitor progress, and complete formal outcomes assessments.

Requirements

• Active special education teaching license or certification.
• School-based experience providing specially designed instruction to diverse student populations.
• Strong collaborative communication skills for working with IEP teams, teachers, parents, and students.
• Proficiency with virtual service delivery, meeting platforms, and instructional technology.
• Dedicated private workspace, secure high-speed internet, reliable computer, and webcam required.
• Minimum availability of 10 hours per week during U.S. school hours, Monday-Friday.
