Part-Time Real Estate Instructor (Real Estate)

Location: Remote, supporting New Mexico students

Salary: $32–$35 per hour

What you will do

• Support New Mexico real estate students through email, voicemail, and discussion board responses.
• Reply to student inquiries within one business day without meeting students in person.
• Review and update pre-licensing course content as state laws and rules change.
• Complete required instructor documentation, state commission filings, course approvals, and renewals.
• Review course materials, report regulatory changes, and permit use of your name and signature on completion certificates.
• Present 15–60 minute sessions for each of the three pre-license courses and answer subject-matter questions.

Requirements

• Active New Mexico real estate license as a salesperson or broker.
• Three to five years of experience as a licensed real estate salesperson, broker, or attorney.
• Completion of the 16-hour CDEI designation through IDECC within four months of contract acceptance and renewal every three years.
• Attendance at an instructor training course, Core Course Instructor Boot Camp, or suitable Instructor Development Workshop within one year of approval.
• Previous teaching experience is strongly preferred.
