Technical Assistance Associate, Special Education (Part-Time)

Location: Remote within the United States; applicants must reside in Tennessee and be able to travel throughout the state as needed.

Anticipated hourly rate: $31.55–$35.15 USD.

What you will do

• Coordinate and deliver technical assistance to education clients, including scheduling meetings, preparing materials, and tracking project timelines.
• Provide professional development, coaching, and technical assistance to local educators through virtual and onsite engagements.
• Prepare and distribute project reports, presentations, training materials, and other deliverables.
• Maintain project documentation, client records, data entry, and document management.
• Communicate with clients, gather information, address inquiries, and monitor project progress and feedback.
• Collaborate with team members to complete project tasks and improve client service processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree with at least two years of relevant experience, or a master’s degree.
• At least two years of special education teaching experience or experience supporting professional development and coaching projects in an educational organization.
• Knowledge of the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA) and related special education requirements.
• Experience delivering virtual and in-person professional development and coaching to local educators in Tennessee.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Current authorization to work in the United States is required; employment-based visa sponsorship, including H-1B sponsorship, is not available.
