Senior Data Analytics Engineer

Location: Remote, anywhere

Salary: $98,500–$147,800 per year, plus an annual discretionary bonus

What you will do

• Analyze large datasets to identify patterns that improve customer insight, performance, engagement, retention, revenue, and cost efficiency.
• Partner with business, management, executive, and leadership teams to define metrics, formulate hypotheses, and support data-driven decisions.
• Design data architecture and integrity constraints with data infrastructure engineers to support collection pipelines and analytics infrastructure.
• Build, deploy, and support self-service BI reports, cubes, and dashboards.
• Apply data modeling, ETL architecture, and report design to department initiatives.
• Produce technical documentation, including data flow, logical, and physical diagrams.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Information Systems preferred; advanced degrees or certifications are also preferred.
• 4+ years of relevant experience in technology, analytics, or business intelligence.
• Experience designing, developing, deploying, and enhancing analytics programs, dashboards, and reports.
• Strong knowledge of distributed computing, data warehouses, data mining, business analytics, software development, data structures, and relational databases.
• Hands-on experience with SQL, RDBMS, data warehouses, and BI platforms such as MS SQL Server, SSIS, SSRS, Tableau, SPSS, TM1, Netezza, Oracle, or OBIEE.
• Strong statistics and mathematics background, analytical thinking, collaboration skills, and ability to work in a fast-paced small-team environment.
