Utility Technician

Location: New Brunswick, New Jersey, United States

Salary: $21.00–$22.00 per hour. Monday–Friday, 1:00 p.m.–9:30 p.m.

What you will do

• Perform routine and preventive maintenance to improve equipment effectiveness and reduce major repairs.
• Inspect and repair fleet vehicles, troubleshoot power tools, and replace broken components on production machinery.
• Inspect work processes and completed projects to ensure quality standards are met.
• Maintain a clean work area and follow safety policies, posted standards, and personal protective equipment requirements.
• Use boom lifts or high lifts for high-rise window cleaning, dusting, light cleaning, and cleaning stainless steel surfaces and frames.
• Work under supervision and collaborate with other employees while maintaining customer service standards.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Six months of experience in a company environment or equivalent experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with a clear motor vehicle record.
• Completion of all required safety and task training certifications.
• Ability to lift or move up to 35 pounds.
• Forklift certification may be required.
