Senior Frontend Engineer (React/Next.js)

What you will do

• Design and build a new headless front-end architecture for a highly visited news site.
• Deliver the initial launch page within the planned early-next-year schedule.
• Establish front-end standards, component patterns, testing frameworks, and code review processes.
• Own performance, Core Web Vitals, technical SEO, and web accessibility.
• Connect user interfaces with headless CMS platforms and internal APIs.
• Mentor team members, collaborate with the Core Web engineering manager, and refine AI-driven agentic workflows.

Requirements

• 5+ years of senior front-end engineering experience.
• Advanced experience with React, Next.js App Router, and TypeScript.
• Experience building with headless CMS platforms and API-driven content.
• Strong focus on Core Web Vitals, technical SEO, and web accessibility.
• Proven experience establishing automated testing practices.
• Fluent English required for daily collaboration with a U.S. team.
