What you will do

• Design and build a new headless front-end architecture for a high-traffic news site.
• Deliver the initial launch page within the early-next-year schedule.
• Define front-end standards, component patterns, testing frameworks, and code review processes.
• Own performance, Core Web Vitals, technical SEO, and accessibility.
• Integrate user interfaces with headless CMS platforms and internal APIs.
• Mentor team members and implement AI-driven agentic workflows across the development lifecycle.

Requirements

• 5+ years of senior front-end engineering experience.
• Advanced React, Next.js with App Router, and TypeScript skills.
• Experience building with headless CMS platforms and API-driven content.
• Experience establishing automated testing practices.
• Daily use of AI coding assistants and an AI-first development workflow.
• Fluent English required for daily collaboration with a US team.
