Functional Wellness and Rehabilitation Educator

Location: Remote, but candidates must reside in California; up to 75% regional travel is required during new center launches.

Salary: $141,000–$161,000 annually, plus a target annual bonus of 10% and possible additional incentive compensation.

What you will do

• Lead field-based onboarding and training for Physical Therapists, Occupational Therapists, Activities Coordinators, Personal Care Attendants, and other assigned roles.
• Manage training, practicum, shadowing assignments, and learning logistics for existing centers and new center launches.
• Conduct didactic training, competency reviews, competency signoffs, skills validation, and preceptor checklist oversight.
• Visit assigned centers across the region to support leaders and center champions with ongoing learning needs.
• Partner with Practice Operations, Center Leadership, the People Team, and functional educators to improve training programs and operational resources.
• Develop and improve workflows, standard operating procedures, role playbooks, job aids, and educational materials to support quality, compliance, and consistency.

Requirements

• Active California Physical Therapist or Occupational Therapist license.
• 3–5+ years of experience teaching or training in the field.
• Experience facilitating training and delivering learning programs.
• Experience developing workflows, SOPs, training materials, or process improvements.
• Ability to coach leaders and other team members using structured frameworks, with strong communication, relationship-building, and stakeholder-management skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, evolving environment, adapt to ambiguity, use feedback and data, and demonstrate integrity and ownership.

• Experience in value-based care, elder care, or a PACE environment.
