Senior Roadway Project Manager

What you will do

• Lead complex roadway, highway, and traffic engineering projects from conceptual planning through final design and construction.
• Develop project scopes, schedules, fee estimates, budgets, and risk mitigation strategies.
• Direct multidisciplinary engineers, designers, and subconsultants in preparing PS&E packages.
• Manage client relationships and coordinate with internal stakeholders, external partners, and public agencies.
• Support business development through pursuit strategy, proposals, client presentations, and interviews.
• Mentor junior staff and provide technical guidance, performance feedback, and transportation project leadership.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license.
• 15+ years of transportation engineering experience and 5+ years of project management experience.
• Experience managing large-scale roadway or highway projects, including scopes, schedules, budgets, and multidisciplinary teams.
• Proven ability to deliver projects on time and within budget while meeting client and quality requirements.
• Established relationships with DOT, municipal, or regional agencies, plus experience contributing to or winning new work.
