Field and Technical Support (Commercial Boilers)

Location: Remote - United States; occasional office travel may be required for meetings and training. Travel requirement: 60–70%.

Salary: $30.45–$35.30 per hour.

What you will do

• Provide technical support for commercial boilers to customers, sales representatives, and service technicians.
• Visit customer sites to diagnose and resolve product and service issues, including startup, tuning, and commissioning of linkage- and servo-controlled boilers.
• Deliver and support technical training programs for representatives and technicians.
• Develop and maintain technical procedures, service bulletins, troubleshooting procedures, and preventative maintenance programs.
• Maintain spare-parts inventories and recommended parts kits.
• Collaborate with Engineering to implement new troubleshooting procedures and service requirements.

Requirements

• 5+ years of field experience in commercial heating or domestic hot water.
• Knowledge of electrical and electronic controls and hardware.
• Knowledge of steam and gas-fired equipment.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office products and adherence to applicable laws, codes, regulations, and safety procedures.
• Successful employment eligibility verification, background checks, and required pre-employment testing.

Nice to have

• BA/BS degree or equivalent experience.
• Contractor license.
