Educational Consultant (EdTech)

Location: Gainesville, GA; this is not a remote position. Candidates must live within 20 miles of Gainesville or be open to relocating, and must be able to travel up to 90%.

Compensation: $30–$65 per hour, depending on the assigned work. Travel time and applicable travel expenses are compensated.

What you will do

• Facilitate professional development for teachers, school leaders, and other educators.
• Deliver training, implementation support, and ongoing consultative guidance.
• Analyze assessment and instructional data with teachers and school leaders.
• Apply adult-learning principles to ensure professional-development objectives are met.
• Collaborate with the Director of Professional Learning, sales team, and other education professionals.
• Travel extensively, including overnight stays and transportation by car, plane, or public transportation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and at least 2 years of experience in teaching, teacher coaching, and professional development.
• Strong knowledge of Common Core State Standards for Grades K–8 or comparable state standards.
• Fluency with digital tools and online assessments, with the ability to discuss and apply data with educators.
• Excellent facilitation, interpersonal, communication, organizational, and time-management skills.
• Strong computer and internet skills, including Microsoft Office and online meeting tools such as Zoom or Webex.
• Own transportation and a valid driver’s license are required; the role involves considerable travel.
