Software Engineer - Java/Azure Developer

Location: Hybrid role based in Atlanta, Georgia, United States

Salary: $68,911–$161,544 base compensation per year

What you will do

• Participate in requirements analysis, design, coding, testing, deployment, and other stages of the software development lifecycle.
• Develop clean, maintainable, and reusable Java applications following engineering best practices.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, product owners, QA teams, and DevOps engineers.
• Optimize application performance and troubleshoot production issues.
• Conduct code reviews and mentor junior developers.
• Contribute to architecture discussions and technology enhancements while maintaining application security, reliability, and compliance.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience with Java and related frameworks such as Spring and Hibernate.
• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles.
• Experience with RESTful APIs, web services, and microservices architecture.
• Experience with Azure cloud platforms and technologies including Service Bus.
• Proficiency in SQL and relational databases such as MySQL or PostgreSQL.
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies and the listed technologies: Redis, Mongo, and Kafka.
