VP, Enterprise Systems, Workday (Fintech)

Location: Fort Lee, New Jersey, United States; hybrid/onsite

Salary: $180,000–$220,000 per year

What you will do

• Lead the architecture, roadmap, implementation, optimization, and support of Workday Financials and HCM platforms.
• Design integrations between Workday and treasury, HR, benefits, FP&A, tax, and other external systems using Studio, EIB, and Cloud Connect.
• Translate finance and HR requirements into scalable Workday configurations, business processes, model-driven applications, and technical solutions.
• Establish data governance, role-based security, architectural standards, and regulatory compliance controls.
• Oversee major implementations, module rollouts, enhancements, updates, impact analysis, regression testing, and system changes.
• Collaborate with Finance, Accounting, Procurement, HR, Operations, Legal, FinTech, IT, vendors, and Workday partners while mentoring technical and functional teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 7+ years of Workday experience, including at least 3 years in a lead or architect role focused on Workday Financials and/or HCM.
• Strong knowledge of accounting, procurement, financial operations, Workday architecture, FDM, security, reporting, and multi-entity, multi-currency configurations.
• Experience in banks, fintechs, insurance, or other financial services organizations, including financial compliance and risk management.
• Workday certification in Financials and related modules such as FDM, Procurement, Projects, or Planning.
• Strong analytical, communication, stakeholder management, project management, documentation, troubleshooting, and user-training skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with Workday Studio, EIB, Report Writer, Power BI, Visio, Excel, or basic SQL.
• Familiarity with SOC, SOX, GDPR, and FFIEC guidelines.
• Workday Financials implementation experience in a financial services environment and expertise in regulatory and management reporting.
