Scheduler (Infrastructure Project Controls)

Location: Hybrid, based in the Burnaby, British Columbia office

Salary: $95,000–$140,000 CAD annually

What you will do

• Develop, maintain, and update integrated project schedules, baselines, progress updates, and revisions throughout the project lifecycle.
• Analyze critical paths, float, variances, milestones, and schedule performance against baselines.
• Forecast completion dates, identify schedule risks and delays, and develop mitigation or recovery recommendations.
• Evaluate the schedule impact of change requests, scope modifications, and project constraints.
• Prepare lookahead schedules, dashboards, reports, and updates for project teams and stakeholders.
• Perform quantitative schedule risk analysis using Monte Carlo simulations and support integrated project controls by aligning schedule, cost, and performance data.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, Business, or a related field is preferred.
• At least 6 years of project scheduling or project controls experience in engineering, construction, infrastructure, or project delivery.
• Experience supporting complex multidisciplinary projects such as transit, highways, utilities, or facilities.
• Strong knowledge of critical path method, sequencing, float analysis, resource loading, forecasting, and quantitative risk analysis.
• Proficiency with Primavera P6, Primavera Cloud, MS Project, and/or comparable scheduling tools; experience with @RISK or other Monte Carlo simulation software.
• Strong analytical, communication, collaboration, organizational, and independent working skills, with a commitment to schedule data accuracy and integrity.
