Workday Financial Integrations - Senior Engineer (AI)

What you will do

• Design, develop, support, and enhance inbound and outbound integrations within the Workday Financials ecosystem.
• Manage complex integrations and translate business and functional requirements into technical specifications.
• Apply AI-driven techniques to automate integration monitoring, validation, testing, troubleshooting, and support.
• Build AI-enabled monitoring and observability solutions and develop AI services that improve Finance operations and user experience.
• Lead design sessions and code reviews while collaborating with Finance, Product, and Engineering teams throughout the software lifecycle.
• Mentor engineers, evaluate emerging AI technologies, and recommend use cases that improve productivity and operational efficiency.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional software development experience within the Workday ecosystem, including Workday integrations, PRISM lineages, and Accounting Center processes.
• Experience with Workday development tools, including Enterprise Interface Builder, Workday Studio, Workday Report Writer, and BIRT.
• Strong experience with web services and APIs, including WSDL, SOAP, REST, and WS standards, as well as XML and XLST.
• 3+ years of architecture and design experience, plus 2+ years with AWS, GCP, Azure, or another cloud service.
• 1+ years of experience building AI-powered applications, chatbots, or intelligent agents, and practical experience using Generative AI tools.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent education or work experience; ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
