Senior IT Systems Administrator Automation & AI

Location: Atlanta, United States; must be able to work Monday through Friday in the US Eastern or Central time zone.

What you will do

• Own enterprise IT platforms including Okta, Google Workspace, and Intune, covering configuration standards, integrations, releases, security, and lifecycle planning.
• Lead platform initiatives from requirements and architecture through implementation, validation, rollback planning, and handover.
• Design and maintain REST API, Okta Workflows, Python, and Bash automations and integrations across internal tools and data sources.
• Build and secure the integration layer for AI systems, including MCP servers, credentials, access scopes, and connectivity troubleshooting.
• Evaluate and govern AI features in SaaS platforms such as Atlassian Rovo, Claude, ChatGPT, and Google Gemini.
• Serve as the senior escalation point for complex ITSM failures, lead root-cause analysis, mentor administrators and support specialists, and maintain architecture documentation and runbooks.

Requirements

• Ability to work Monday through Friday in the US Eastern or Central time zone.
• 5+ years of experience administering enterprise IT systems.
• Deep expertise with Okta and Okta Workflows, Google Workspace administration, and endpoint management across macOS and Windows using Jamf and Intune.
• Experience building API-based integrations and automations with Python and/or Bash, including permission scoping, key management, documentation review, and connectivity troubleshooting.
• Hands-on enterprise experience enabling and governing AI features or building and securing AI integrations such as MCP servers.
• Experience leading company-wide technical projects, managing access controls and audit evidence, translating business requirements into technical solutions, and working in a Kanban-style environment.

Nice to have

• Certifications in AI platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud, or Anthropic.
