IT Systems Engineer (AI)

TL;DR

IT Systems Engineer (AI): Designing, building, and operating secure, scalable infrastructure for the Public Sector IT team with an accent on IAM automation and federal compliance frameworks. What you will do

• Administer the IT tech stack, including Okta, GCC High, Opal, Slack, Jamf, and Jira.
• Design and maintain Zero-Trust controls (device posture, network segmentation) across Azure Gov and Okta.
• Build Okta Workflows and lightweight services to automate IAM events and access reviews.
• Partner with Security and Compliance teams on audit artifacts for NIST 800-53/171 and CMMC 2.0.
• Own change management for IT systems in regulated environments, including CAB records and rollback plans.
• Provide escalated technical assistance to the IT Services and Support team.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in IT systems, infrastructure, or engineering.
• Active Secret or TS/SCI clearance.
• Experience with Okta or similar IAM systems using SAML, OIDC, and SCIM.
• Proficiency in scripting with Python, Powershell, and/or Bash.
• Experience working within SCIFs and familiarity with FedRAMP High, IL6, and CMMC 2.0 controls.
• Experience integrating with SaaS APIs and SDKs.

Nice to have

• Infrastructure-as-Code experience (e.g., Terraform for Okta, Jamf, or Azure).
